MORTSEL, BELGIUM—Agfa Graphics announced today that it has signed an agreement to purchase the assets of the Harold M. Pitman Co., a distributor of prepress, industrial inkjet, pressroom and packaging printing products and systems in the United States.
ROCHESTER, NY—Eastman Kodak has named xpedx as the company's primary U.S. national authorized reseller for Kodak's suite of commercial prepress products. In the process, Kodak has notified Pitman Co. that Kodak is terminating Pitman's right to distribute all Kodak products. This termination will take effect on Oct. 5.
