Presstek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRST), a leading supplier of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries, today reported financial and operating results for the first quarter ended April 2, 2011. In the quarter, the Company reported total revenue of $31.9 million, a decline of 7.6% from the amount reported in the first quarter of 2010, and an increase of 2.6% from the fourth quarter of 2010.

Presstek Inc. has appointed three new sales representatives to augment its Western Region sales organization. Kurt Curtis, Owen R. Ryan and Wayne Fleshman are now responsible for selling Presstek's capital equipment and thermal plates, including chemistry-free Aurora EXP plates and the Presstek 75DI digital offset press.
For fiscal 2010, Presstek reported total revenue of $128.6 million, a decline of 4 percent from 2009, and adjusted EBITDA of $4.0 million, up $5.6 million. It had a full-year operating loss of $6.8 million, an improvement of $24.6 million.
