Nominations are now open for the PIA 2017 Managing for Improvement Award which honors outstanding managers in the printing industry.

A fourth track has been added to the annual Continuous Improvement Conference being held April 2-5 in Pittsburgh.

The full speaker lineup for the 2017 President’s Conference running March 12-15 in Long Beach, Calif., has been revealed by PIA.

Susan Nofi, senior VP, human resources and general counsel, Heidelberg USA, has been inducted into the Ben Franklin Honor Society.

Thirty-three graphic communications companies were selected to receive Printing Industries of America's 2016 Best Workplaces in the Americas awards. Of those recognized, 11 companies received the coveted designation “Best of the Best,” while 22 earned “Best Workplace” honors. The awards acknowledge the print and graphic arts companies that provide outstanding workplaces for their employees.

Seven industry leaders have been inducted into the Ben Franklin Honor Society of PIA at its awards ceremony on Friday, Nov. 18.

Warren Wilkins, the founder of Webcom Limited, passed away peacefully on November 3 at the age of 88.

Julie McFarland, president of McNaughton & Gunn Inc., has been named the 2016 Naomi Berber Memorial Award recipient.
