Executive Compensation : Big Paydays for Many CEOs

With publicly held companies on the 2010 Printing Impressions 400 reporting sales declines for their most recently completed fiscal years, pay levels for the principal officers at these large firms didn't necessarily follow suit. For most of the executives appearing here, their overall salaries were up significantly.

Quad/Graphics to Close Its Fredericksburg Facility in January

The Fredericksburg, VA plant encompasses approximately 165,000 sq.ft. and employs approximately 300 full-time and part-time workers. A man with a foreign accent taking photos of tankers parked near a chemical storage facility set off alarms Sunday night. Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls said his department issued a special bulletin to law enforcement agencies throughout the county after a man was spotted taking pictures of railroad tanker cars parked next to the chemical facility at Quad/Graphics in Lomira (WI).

Quad Invests $20M in Insert Printing Platform

The investment includes adding four retail offset presses to its Lomira, WI, facility, which will provide clients additional quick-turn production and rapid delivery of highly versioned, smaller page count advertising formats inserted into newspapers.
