Heidelberg’s Prinect workflow will drive color management among offset, toner-based and grand-format digital inkjet equipment, represented by Heidelberg’s Speedmaster 74 and Speedmaster SM 52 Anicolor presses, the Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition digital press, and the grand-format EFI VUTEk GS3200, a hybrid UV inkjet printer for rigid and roll-to-roll printing.
Heidelberg USA has announced a series of structural and organizational changes intended to reinforce its position in the print media marketplace. These include a realignment of its regional office facilities and key regional personnel in certain parts of the country in order to raise the level of support for its customers.

HOUSTON—Consolidated Graphics (CGX) has installed five Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition digital printers at five of its facilities. The systems were chosen for their versatility, quality and faster turnaround times, which will enable the printer to better meet its customers’ range of design and printing needs.
The five CGX companies that have installed the Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition are The Graphics Group, Dallas; Lincoln Printing in Fort Wayne, IN; Metropolitan Printing in Bloomington, IN; Tewell Warren Printing in Denver; and Precision Litho in Vista, CA.
PCI Group (Fort Mill, SC) has deployed multiple InfoPrint 4100s digital publishing platforms with Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) capabilities for production of rapid outbound direct mail services to support collection agencies and debt buyers. The company selected the printers for their industry-recognized print quality and ultra-high print speed.
