DES MOINES, IA—Colorfx has completed a deal to acquire Demco Printing, based in Boyden, IA, from Dethmers Manufacturing. Demco Printing offers digital, sheetfed and web printing, along with complete finishing services.
The acquisition of Demco Printing's plant in Boyson, IA, will enhance Colorfx's geographic reach and expand its manufacturing capabilities. This will allow Demco customers to now have access to a more complete set of marketing services such as design, photography, mail presorting and processing, as well as social and digital media marketing.
When Rock Communications, Ltd. of Newton, Iowa, acquired Colorfx, Inc. of Des Moines, Iowa, in 2007, the two commercial printers combined to create a Midwest marketing powerhouse with more diversified revenue and broader capabilities.
