Scot Adkins has joined Great Lakes Integrated (GLI) as the company's new president and COO. Adkins, a long-time veteran of the printing and packaging industry, comes to GLI from Rohrer Corp. in Wadsworth, Ohio, where he most recently served as president. "I have known Scot for many years through our involvement in various professional printing organizations, and he is ideally suited to lead GLI’s day-to-day operations going forward. We look forward to his contributions," comments James Schultz, chairman of the board and CEO of GLI.
Members of the World Packaging Organization (WPO) judged 264 packaging projects from 37 countries at the WorldStar Awards 2015, held in Columbo, Sri Lanka. Among 14 winning packages in the Pharmaceutical and Medical category was Rohrer Corp.'s design for Chattem/Sanofi U.S., the Nasacort 24HR Nasal Allergy Spray package. This unique package includes a fold-over blister card aimed to maximize billboard space while simultaneously minimizing material usage.

At PRINT 13 in Chicago, Diversified Graphic Machinery demonstrated its DGM Foildex Cold Foil application system with Indexing and DGM Filmdex UV Cast and Cure system to a constant flow of booth visitors.
The Rohrer Corp. in Wadsworth, OH, has purchased two Foildex Cold Foil and Filmdex UV Cast and Cure systems from Diversified Graphic Machinery. The sale and purchase was announced jointly from the DGM exhibit at PRINT 13 by Michael DeBard, president of Diversified Graphic Machinery, and Scot Adkins, president and CEO of Rohrer Corp.
