RR Donnelley Reports Net Growth for Q1 Financial Results

RR Donnelley's first-quarter 2013 net sales of $2.5 billion grew 0.5 percent from the first quarter of 2012; the U.S. Print and Related Services segment net sales declined 0.5 percent. RR Donnelley Worker Killed in Accident Identified as Lancaster (PA) Man

A mechanic accidentally killed at a commercial printing plant in Lancaster city (PA) Monday morning has been identified as Terry E. Lefever, 53, of Lancaster. Lefever, a married father of two, died in an "accident involving a tow motor," according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. The accident happened shortly before 6 a.m. at R.R. Donnelley & Sons' 1375 Harrisburg Pike plant, he said.

RR Donnelley Closes $450 Million Debt Offering
March 14, 2013

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company has closed an offering of $450 million aggregate principal amount of 7.875 percent Notes due 2021. RR Donnelley intends to use the net proceeds from this offering, along with borrowings under its revolving credit facility, to partially fund tender offers for up to $500 million aggregate principal amount of its debt securities.

Printing Firm Closing, Laying Off 57

RR Donnelley & Sons Co. told the state of Ohio it expects to close its Sycamore Township facility and lay off 57 workers.

The Chicago-based commercial printing firm said the layoffs could start May 13 and be complete by the end of the month.

Employees Told RR Donnelley Closing Greenfield (OH) Plant
March 6, 2013

Employees of RR Donnelley (formerly Banta Publications) of Greenfield (OH) were informed Wednesday that the company would be closing its Greenfield facility in 60 days. Employment separations are expected to commence on or about May 6, 2013. The closure will be permanent and will involve RR Donnelley's entire operation at the Greenfield, Ohio manufacturing location.

Greenfield City Manager Ron Coffey told The Highland County Press Wednesday that the local plant supervisor Brian McManus confirmed that was the case.

"It's a significant impact on our community," Coffey said. "There's never a good time for something like this. It's a sad day."
