The occasion marked the dedication of the company's two new HP Indigo 7000 digital presses and its in-house digital division, eSA Solutions. Visitors were also able to see examples of Sandy Alexander's Web-to-print and variable data applications.
Sandy Alexander Inc., announced today it is expanding its portfolio of special effects print technologies by licensing a patented three-dimensional (3D) design and printing technology from Azuna LLC, based in Jenkintown, PA.
Sandy Alexander Inc., has produced the first ever mix and match magazine cover for Hearst Magazine’s Esquire which went on sale April 10. The magazine’s May cover features a new “make your own face” perforated cover. The multiple covers feature the facial features of Barack Obama, George Clooney and Justin Timberlake, on three covers that when separated provide 27 combinations of the various facial features.
A new agreement announced today commits eSA, the digital technology subsidiary of Sandy Alexander, to purchase 130 metric tons of certified carbon offsets. The commitment matches eSA’s carbon dioxide equivalent emissions associated with central heating, their company owned vehicle fleet and employees' travel, making eSA one of the first digital printers in New Jersey to commit to carbon neutrality.
