The new SmartStacker, from Horizon International, has been designed for use with the new HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press, and can be operated in-line with this press or used as a near-line system to serve multiple printing devices.
drupa will see a host of new perfect binder entries all designed to smooth the finishing workflow for both inkjet- and toner-based digital presses. All of these machines can either run in-line with the press, or in a near-line configuration.
Pinnacle Data Systems recently installed Standard Hunkeler and Standard Horizon equipment at its two redundant, 75,000-square-foot print facilities. NABS Bindery Services has expanded its short-run finishing capabilities with the addition of a Standard Horizon BQ-270C automated perfect binder.
