The new VUTEk GS3250 LX printer from Heidelberg, will support Suttle-Straus Inc.'s production of point-of-purchase (POP) and display graphics for multi-location customers that Suttle-Straus already provides with conventional printing and fulfillment. The new press will also help bolster the company's R&D side of the business.

Printing Industries of America is pleased to announce John Berthelsen, president and CEO of Suttle-Straus in Waunakee, WI, is the recipient of the 2012 Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is recognized as the highest honor given to any individual in the graphic arts industry.
MARCO ISLAND, FL—One meeting held at the recent Vision 3 Summit here wasn’t listed on the general conference program. Prior to the event, a group of industry leaders convened to discuss the unification of the Printing Industries of America (PIA) and the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL). The group reached a unanimous consensus to move forward with a plan.
The National Assn. for Printing Leadership and Printing Industries of America have formed a task force to collaborate on and move forward with a unification process. The unification process is expected to take several months to reach completion.
