Thirty-three graphic communications companies were selected to receive Printing Industries of America's 2016 Best Workplaces in the Americas awards. Of those recognized, 11 companies received the coveted designation “Best of the Best,” while 22 earned “Best Workplace” honors. The awards acknowledge the print and graphic arts companies that provide outstanding workplaces for their employees.
Companies across the country submitted their entries on GPA substrates to compete in seven product categories for Best of Category.

Instead of devising our own wholly subjective criteria with which to judge printing companies, we have instead deferred to the wisdom of the Printing Industries of America (PIA), which produces its own annual Best Workplace in the Americas Awards. The selected companies are: Midstates Inc., Aberdeen, SD; The John Roberts Co., Minneapolis; Ripon Printers, Ripon, WI; and Courier Corp., North Chelmsford, MA.
The John Roberts Co. has joined forces with Trish Witkowski of Foldfactory.com to bring its customers a valuable series of publications, in-person workshops and tools that will give them the knowledge, inspiration and the confidence needed to create direct mail that performs.
The John Roberts Co. is inviting print producers/buyers, designers, marketing and communication individuals, to a combined conference and open house it will be holding at its facility in Minneapolis, Thursday, January 30. Titled UNLIMITED 2.0 – New and Improved!, the event will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn how the company is using unique techniques and technology to connect its customers’ consumers with their brands.
