MINNEAPOLIS—Robert A. Keene, co-founder and chairman of The John Roberts Co., passed away Feb. 3. He co-founded The John Roberts Co. in 1951 with E. John Chelberg, which today employs more than 300 employees.
The John Roberts Co. co-founder and chairman, Robert Keene has passed away. Keene, who served as a Corporal in the Second Marine Division United States Marine Corps, was a very proud Marine of his service, as well as the company he built. "Our values originated from Robert Keene and his spirit will forever be the foundation of The John Roberts Co," said Michael Keene, president and CEO.

PITTSBURGH—Printing Industries of America (PIA) announced the recipients of the 2012 Best Workplace in the Americas Awards. A total of 36 graphic arts companies, both PIA and non-PIA members, were selected by a committee of human resource experts from within the industry.
