William George Nuffer, 82, a founder of Sheridan Books in Chelsea, MI, LithoCrafters in Ann Arbor, MI, and BookCrafters in Fredericksburg, VA, passed away at Northport Highlands in Northport, MI. Nuffer is also credited with founding the Ann Arbor Graphic Arts Memorial Foundation which provides scholarships for Michigan students earning a print management degree.

Sheridan has been chosen by TAN Books, a publisher of Catholic work, to print its latest title, "Son of God: The Life of Jesus Christ in Pictures," depicting scenes from the major motion picture, "Son of God." The case-bound book features a printed case complete with a matching dust jacket.
Sheridan has developed a print-on-demand solution for Northwestern University Press (NUP), which builds on NUP’s participation in the Chicago Distribution Center at the University of Chicago Press.

The Sheridan Group and The OPUS Group announce the addition of Clays Ltd. as the newest member of the Content Delivery Alliance (CDA). Clays will service customers’ distribute and print book needs in the United Kingdom and Europe. Sheridan will support North America and The Opus Group will cover the Pacific region from facilities in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

The catalog printer was purchased from The Sheridan Group, a Hunt Valley, Maryland based print, publishing services and technology provider to publishers of scholarly journals, magazines, books and catalogs.
Christopher Pierce, former owner of the The Dingley Press in Lisbon, ME, has re-acquired the company. "I am very excited to be reunited with the great people at The Dingley Press, and I very much look forward to continued growth at Dingley in the years ahead," said Pierce.
