Announcing its results for the first fiscal quarter, Visant reported its consolidated net sales were $169.6 million.

Visant Corp. has reported its first fiscal quarter ended March 29, 2014, including consolidated net sales of $243.6 million, compared to $244.9 million for its first fiscal quarter ended March 30, 2013. Net sales for the Marketing and Publishing Services segment for the first fiscal quarter of 2014 increased $5.4 million to $99.3 million from $93.9 million for the first fiscal quarter of 2013.

Visant Corp. has released results for its fiscal year ended December 28, 2013, including consolidated net sales of $1,127.7 million, compared to $1,155.3 million for its fiscal year ended December 29, 2012, a decrease of approximately 2.4 percent.

Visant Corp. results for its third quarter include consolidated net sales of $206.9 million, compared to $227.6 million for its quarter ended Oct. 1, 2011. The company reported a consolidated net loss of $19.5 million for the latest quarter, compared to a net loss of $12.3 million for the third quarter of 2011.

Visant Corp. reported consolidated net sales of $464.7 million for its second fiscal quarter, compared to $493.1 million for its second quarter of 2011, a decrease of approximately 6 percent. The Marketing and Publishing Services segment decreased $9.3 million, or 10 percent.

MINNEAPOLIS—Jostens may not be taking the last train to Clarksville, but it is moving all production work there starting this summer. The company known for its print production of annuals—including high school yearbooks—along with class rings and other related products, will relocate production from Topeka, KS, to Clarksville, TN, beginning in July.

Visant Corp. reported consolidated net sales of $258.8 million in its first quarter of 2012, compared to $250.7 million for the same period in 2011. It had a consolidated net loss of $10.1 million vs. a net loss of $18.5 million for the first quarter of 2011.

Visant reported a consolidated net loss of $14.9 million for its latest fiscal year, compared to consolidated net income of $56.2 million for the fiscal year ended Jan. 1, 2011. It had consolidated net sales of $1.218 billion, compared to $1.241 billion for its 2010 fiscal year, a decrease of approximately 2 percent.
