Business-to-consumer printer Vistaprint announced that a U.S. appeals court has affirmed the 2009 dismissal of a lawsuit against the online company and two of its third-party merchants. According to Vistaprint, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld an August 2009 decision by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit found that the District Court's "detailed analysis is compelling in explaining that each claim is entirely without merit." The complaint pertained to certain membership discount programs offered to Vistaprint customers on Vistaprint.com.
Year-over-year revenue grew 22 percent to $164.3 million in the fourth quarter and 30 percent to $670.0 million in fiscal year 2010.
Revenue for the third quarter grew to $166.0 million, a 30 percent increase over revenue of $127.5 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.
