Many people tell me this is a crazy thing to say
On the face of it, it seems like a strange thing for a sales person to say. But I am consistently surprised at the results I achieve from it.
This is a phrase I use when I’m failing to get hold of a prospect. I have a response from them before but now they have gone cold, despite me chasing them a few times.
Here’s the phrase
“Would you like me to stop contacting you?”
Whenever I use this phrase, I have a success rate of over 25% of people asking me to stay in touch. Many times it actually starts the dialogue going again. Remember, I am using it with people who have consistently failed to respond to me before.
Try it out
You have nothing to lose and you may be surprised at the results.
