Visuals matter more than you think on LinkedIn
Most people are highly visual. They take on a lot of information instantly if they see a picture. That’s why it’s vital you make the most of two visual opportunities on LinkedIn.
Use the right portrait shot
If they are going to deal with someone, most people like to be able to visualize them. Your portrait shot says a lot. Don’t try to be clever or funny. Just use a natural shot of yourself – preferably one without pets or family and not taken at parties or on holiday! This may seem obvious, but many people on LinkedIn let themselves down with their portrait shots.
Use the banner
The banner is an important way to communicate what you do. Create a visual for this space. Include product shots and a few words on what you provide.
