Now that I have your attention, let me explain.
In life we take in a great deal to nourish us — food, water, and air.
Once we have used up the nourishment in that food, water, and air, our bodies eliminate the waste each of these creates. The fact is that if we retain the waste rather than eliminate it, our bodies could become toxically poisoned.
We need to treat the experiences and words we take in the same way.
In business and in life we have many experiences, we hear many words. We need to find a way to let those experiences and words nourish us.
Once we have used up the nourishment in these experiences and words, we need to eliminate the waste each of these creates. We all have had experiences in which holding onto toxicity will eventually lead to us getting physically sick too.
We all have had experiences and heard much that may be unkind, negative, and abusive. There are lessons we can learn from all these experiences and words. But once we have learned the lessons, we need to eliminate the remaining waste from our mind.
Toxic experiences can poison our minds with limited beliefs, pent up anger, fear of rejection, and much more that can limit our success and rob us of our joy.
Let me encourage you to take an inventory of the experiences and words you have taken in during your life that no longer serve you and eliminate them from your mind.
