Two weeks from today, the inaugural PRINTING United show will open its doors in Dallas. We have been keeping you apprised of new technology being announced daily now from our powerhouse vendor line-up. More than 650 companies are making final preparations before they make the trip to the Big D.
Here are some of the latest solutions that will be shown at PRINTING United, worthy of taking note to stop by and learn more about.
Engineered Printing Solutions (Booth 2612) is showcasing the MD9450, a cylindrical inkjet printer ideal for any cylindrical object ranging from pens to cosmetic tubes, caulk tubes—even a wide variety drinkware—straight- and taper-walled—from stemware to pint glasses to beer growlers. With the ability to mark 800 parts per hour in CMYK+W with inline pre-treatment and varnish also an option, the MD9450 cylindrical inkjet printer opens up a world of possibility for contract decorators.
Kirk-Rudy is showcasing brand new color inkjet printer, FireJet 4C, in booth 11734. The FireJet 4C is a pigment-based aqueous printing system engineered to deliver increased speed and outstanding image quality at a low cost. The FireJet 4C offers a profitable alternative to the smaller desktop, toner based digital color printers on the market today, and delivers high-speed color printing at near offset quality for documents, labels, direct mail and packaging.
Verseidag US (Booth 9557) is highlighting the company’s newest backlit from its line of Sheen fabrics, Sheen Soft. Due to the make-up, this lightweight textile offers improved crease resistance from its predecessors. This product is available in various widths up to 16’, making it an ideal solution for today’s largest backlit SEG systems.
Vycom Corp. is displaying its Celtec Woodgrain material at PRINTING United booth 7644. The product adds a new dimension to digitally crafted signage by enabling print service providers to offer clients a wood-looking surface, with the production ease of using Celtec PVC materials. Easily decorated using inkjet or screen-printing processes, this material offers a more durable solution for artistic expression and applications requiring a wood-like surface. It is lighter than wood, reducing shipping and material handling costs, and offers texture and durability not available in painted or vinyl-covered surfaces.
At PRINTING United this year, one special guest in attendance is Joe Everson, an artist and performer known around the world for his talent at painting and singing. Celebrities, corporations, sports teams, and more are all counted among his client list — and now the attendees of PRINTING United will be among them as well. Find out more about what he’ll be doing at PRINTING United next week.
And also, next week will be our last installment of the special PRINTING United blog series, so be sure to check back in on the latest news before packing your bags!
