Have you ever posted a LinkedIn poll?
Right now, the LinkedIn algorithm loves polls. It promotes them far more than any other type of post. I have run polls where I have received thousands of views and some great engagement.
Creating a poll is easy
Just start a post as normal and then click on the poll button at the bottom of the posting box. You will see that it is simple to type out a question, add the possible answers, and you create your poll. There’s a maximum of four answer options and each one has a maximum of 30 characters.
All you need to do before creating the poll is to think of a question that is relevant to the content you are posting.
Remember to tag connections and add hashtags as normal.
This trick won’t last forever
I’m sure that before long, the algorithm will treat polls like any other type of content. So make the most of them while you can.
