Many people make a big mistake on their headline
The first thing many people see on LinkedIn is your headline. The majority of people put their job title here. That’s a big error!
Most people don’t care if you are a director of sales or similar. And if you have a company name like XYZ Ltd., it doesn’t give any clue as to what industry you are in or what you do. You’ve missed a big chance to stand out from the crowd.
How do you make your headline stand out?
Here are three quick ways to make yourself more interesting:
- List your products or services
- List the results you create for your clients
- Have a quirky job title that raises a smile – for instance, my job title is Champion of Print
Here’s my LinkedIn headline
