The RISO VALEZUS T2100
It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer flew by and how close we are to the inaugural show opening in Dallas on October 23-25 — less than two months away! As news continues to roll in from our forward-thinking PRINTING United partners, be sure to make a note to visit these companies and see the latest technology on the sold-out show floor.
Drytac Polar Chrome
It’s exciting to hear about the global launches and North American premiers that are being planned for PRINTING United in October — across all different market segments.
RISO (Booth 10935) has officially launched VALEZUS, a new brand of high-speed inkjet printers for the production-printing market. RISO will start with successive rollouts worldwide of the new brand’s first product, the VALEZUS T2100, a high-speed, 320-page-per-minute (320-ppm) cut-sheet printer. PRINTING United attendees will be the first in North America to see the technology in action.
Drytac (Booth 6224) announced the global availability of Polar Chrome, an innovative reflective film perfect for the creation of eye-catching graphics in a range of environments. Polar Chrome is a 3 mil (75 micron) reflective satin silver PET film that catches the light for a stunning finish. Thanks to its compatibility with eco-solvent, solvent, latex, and UV printing technology and its availability in rolls up to 60 inches wide, it is ideal for a wide variety of applications such as billboards, exhibition graphics, POS displays, and public transport advertisements.
Gandy Gladi8tor
Gandy Digital is unveiling its next generation large-format flatbed printer, the Gladi8tor, at the show in booth 2222. Its “NanoDot” Technology with 3 picoliter drop size, allows for smooth color and sharpness, combined with increased speeds of more than 60 boards an hour or 30 boards for best quality. Gandy is also offering an upgrade to the new NanoDot Technology to the existing Pred8tor and Domin8tor flatbed printers.
JDS Sign Supply's Silicon Edge Graphics frames
At the show, JDS Sign Supply is showcasing its Silicon Edge Graphics (SEG) frames, a new modular solution for fabric signs, in booth 816. Made with a strong yet light-weight ABS, frame components can be painted and press-fit together without special tools; no sewing is needed. KederTape can be used to finish the fabric edge, and then folded and tucked into the frame. JDS Sign Supply also offers the wall cleats, corner pieces T-connectors, Keder tape, and Keder tape pull tabs for completing frames.
