The next time you have a productive day, take stock. Think back and consider what made it such a good day. Chances are it started with a plan. That plan happened when you stopped and took the time to think about what was coming next, be it the day, the week or the month ahead.
The single most important part of time management is preparation.
Good time management is not an accident. People who make it look easy work hard to do so. They are productive, not just busy. To the outsider, they appear organized and efficient which of course, they are. But without that initial plan, without preparation, they’d be just like the rest of us.
Do yourself a favor: Set an alarm on your cell phone to go off at 5 p.m. today. When it sounds, stop whatever you doing right got a plan for tomorrow. You understand what I'm talking about.
