People only take a second to check out your profile on LinkedIn
That’s why it is vital to have a good LinkedIn headline. Most people have something along the lines on “Sales Manager, XYZ Ltd.” If I just see the box with basic details about you on LinkedIn, this tells me nothing. I have no reason to engage further with you. I don’t even know what sector you are in!
Make it obvious how you help people
List some key services or products that you provide. Even better, state what results you achieve for your clients. Try and use words that prospects might include in their search terms.
You can see my LinkedIn headline at the top of this article. You can see what I do instantly. Your LinkedIn headline can be up to 220 characters long (including spaces). It is surprising just how much you can say with that amount of characters.
