As a followup to the video interview with Quad Chairman, President, and CEO Joel Quadracci, which was published yesterday, several people have since requested access to the written Standard Operating Procedures Quad had developed for its Safe-at-Work Program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Joel Quadracci was kind enough to offer to share this SOPs document for the benefit of the entire printing industry.
It addresses such topics as the formation and proper procedures for Quad's Rapid Response Team that is tasked with assessing, tracking, and tracing COVID-19 cases among employees. As of April 23, 2020, Quad's Rapid Response Team has worked with and assessed more than 300 employees referred to the team.
The document also outlines the improved guidelines and processes Quad instituted in February 2020 related to best practices for social distancing, daily disinfecting, good hygiene, protective equipment, and temperature checks within Quad print production facilities.
