Printers can produce some of the most stunning self-promotion pieces and capabilities brochures (www.PaperSpecsGallery.com thinks they should), but this one is truly amazing.
This piece, designed by Faust Associates in Riverside, IL, and printed by Rider Dickerson in Chicago, is aptly titled thanks to the unusual hand-folded format, a seemingly simple 12x12" opens up to a flat 24x36" in a way that resembles the edges of an oyster shell.
Sabine Lenz is the founder of PaperSpecs.com, the first online paper database and community specifically designed for paper specifiers.
Growing up in Germany, Sabine started her design career in Frankfurt, before moving to Australia and then the United States. She is also a speaker on paper issues and the paper industry.
