Leading printing industry analysts Marco Boer and David Zwang discuss efforts to develop an open standard, global taxonomy to replace the existing, outdated taxonomy that dates back to the early 1960s. Comprising both the print applications as well as the equipment, software, and materials used to manufacture the wide range of printed products being produced today, it will demonstrate the large size and scope of the overall industry. The new taxonomy will be released at the PRINTING United Expo in October.
