The vast majority of the time, we think of print as a vehicle for things like marketing or branding. An important part of running any successful business, for sure, but not necessarily changing any lives. That isn't the case, however, for a project that HP and U.K.-based Precision Proco have undertaken. Together, they are supplying dual-language books to children displaced by the war in Ukraine — in both their native language, and the language of the country they have ended up in. It's an incredibly powerful story about how print is helping bridge the gap and help these children get acclimated to their changed circumstances. Ashley Gordan, Publishing Segment Manager at HP, sat down with Printing Impressions to chat about the project, how it works, and why it is so important.
